TAYRONA NATIONAL PARK TREK
Vast nature reserve home to Santa Marta's most pristine beaches along with mangroves, coral reefs 100 species of mammals, 200 species of birds, 50 species of reptiles and archaeological remains of the ancient Tayrona tribes. After a beautiful walk through the jungle, we'll end up on one of the most gorgeous beaches for an afternoon swim and delicious snacks!

RAFTING DON DIEGO RIVER
Rising in the highest coastal mountain range in world and known for its crystal-clear water, variety of wildlife, hundreds of bird species, lush jungle surroundings and home to to the indigenous WayĂșu people, who reside in clusters along the riverbanks. We'll enjoy a leisurely afternoon ride tubing down this majestic river with gentle rapids and falls.

QUEBRADA VALENCIA WATERFALL
Majestic waterfall emerging in the middle of rain forest, a lovely walk from we are staying! Guide-led hike will take us to a private watering hole at the top.

This is a true get away with no cell service, computers or electricity on the land. If you've never unplugged like this before, it is life-changing and amazing! DSL is available up the road if need be but patience is a must!

Please consider bringing used clothing for children of all ages, coloring books, crayons, colored pens/pencils books in Spanish, toys, etc. These items would be extremely useful at the orphanage. If you brought items in your luggage, you'd be making room to bring home Colombian souveniers for friends and family! If anyone speaks Spanish, it would be super helpful! The children love art, painting, singing, watching puppets, theater or dance... any activity we can collectively or individually share is welcome! Life is a true gift and so much more so when we share it with others.
